Weekly Challenge: Review The Commonlands September 21, 2007

Let’s dive right into this. As Kytherea has posted over at the Everquest II official forums:
Each week, provided we get community participation in this, one zone from EQII will be selected for review.
We are not looking for just glowing, positive reviews; honesty is what is desired for all zone reviews. Keep your review constructive and negative reviews will be acceptable. Your review should be no more then 250 words. You are welcome to include screen shots as well if you wish.
Ok, this is different. It’s also so ridiculously simple that I can’t imagine why every studio on the planet isn’t already doing this. Here we have a studio not just soliciting feedback, but rather encouraging members of the playerbase to write formal reviews of their work.
I love this idea. I love this idea so much that we’re going to try to keep up with the idea here at Clockwork Gamer - AND I’m going to challenge other Everquest II writers to do the same.
This week’s zone to review is The Commonlands. I’m going to specifically call out Average Joe, Ogrebear, Kilianna, and Stargrace to review The Commonlands zone. Unlike SOE though, I’m not going to limit you to 250 words.
Extended SOE System Maintenance - Tuesday, September 25 September 21, 2007

From the EverQuest II official forums:
All SOE games, websites, message boards, Knowledge Base, Station store, and other services will be unavailable for approximately 24 hours beginning on Tuesday, September 25th. All SOE services will be undergoing upgrades to the authentication system and as a result, all logins for SOE services will be unavailable. Technical and Account support will only be available by phone during this time. Please keep an eye on this website for more news and information about this maintenance as it becomes available. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this downtime.
Since we’ll be without a gaming fix like the rest of you, Kendricke & I will be here during that day, posting updates as we receive them, along with our usual articles & news.
Be sure to stop back often and watch as we all suffer withdrawal from our addiction of choice! 
Deity 101: A Quick Overview of the Deity System of Everquest II September 21, 2007

The gods of Norrath have once again returned to the lands they once ruled over. The first of these deities to return have brought with them various powers and rewards to bestow upon those who choose to follow them.
This guide is considered a very basic introduction to some of the general shared concepts of the deity system. It is intended for new players who are not familiar with Everquest II’s deity system. Later guides in this series will provide more comprehensive overviews of specific deities, deity powers, and guides to helping choose a deity.
